THE PILLARS

This section will eventually have a dual purpose:

First, to provide useful information necessary to broaden an e-citizen’s understanding of all major religions of the world.

A "special prayers" function could also be included, so that users, individually or collectively, can voice their inner thoughts and wishes for others in need, or for entire communities.  Of course, special care would have to be taken so that all messages conform to the integrity (but not necessarily doctrine) of all faiths.

Second, to facilitate the work of the "The Pillars" and catalog the various resolutions or "code of universal virtues" it passes.

It is anticipated that six of the seven Pillars will each be composed of leaders from all universally accepted religions based on factors such as population figures and historical relevance (two each for Christianity, Islam, and one each for Judaism and Hinduism), with the seventh Pillar consisting of Buddhism and other faiths as universally accepted by the leaders of the historical group.  These are largely unelected bodies, based on the traditions of each Pillar, with each Pillar consisting of between 500 and 750 leaders).  Moreover, each Pillar can pass its own theological and moral precepts, in addition to when they occasionally consult to pass universal rules requiring a vote of 95% or more of each Pillar:

PILLAR 1 - Christianity (Catholicism and E. Orthodoxy, apportioned at a ratio of three-to-one Roman Catholicism-to-E. Orthodoxy)
PILLAR 2 - Christianity (Protestantism and the many other denominations, as approved by a simple majority vote of Pillar No. 1)
PILLAR 3 - Islam (Shia)
PILLAR 4 - Islam (Sunni)
PILLAR 5 - Judaism (special membership provisions are forthcoming)
PILLAR 6 - Hinduism (special provisions are also forthcoming)
PILLAR 7 - Buddhism (50%) and other global religions (50%, this portion requiring the assent of the primary six Pillars to join, at no less than 95% acceptance by each group)

LASTLY, THE GOAL OF THIS EFFORT IS NOT A UNITY OF RELIGION, BUT A UNITY OF RELIGIOUS PEOPLE IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN THE MORAL FOUNDATION OF HUMAN CIVILIZATION, MAXIMIZE THE PUBLIC INTEREST, AND RENEW HUMANITY'S TIES TO THE METAPHYSICAL REALM IN THE FACE OF INCREASINGLY SECULARIST IDEOLOGIES BASED ON RADICAL INDIVIDUALSISM.
