SITE MISSION

The essential mission of Bluecratic consists of three elements:

FIRST, Bluecratic establishes the conceptual framework for a new form of "public voicing," merging elements of professional and political networking with citizen-level and group-based participation, in order to produce a total web-based e-government.  Contrary to current efforts which provide links to services or information provided by "brick-and-mortar" governing institutions, this site envisions a network of private, non-governmental actors forming a parallel system in competition with existing national and local polities.

An e-government is the compilation of traditional indicia of governmental power and structure in an online format, linking users throughout the world for the purpose of promoting awareness of the global nation, the SECOND great purpose of Bluecratic.  This system is not an actual world government, nor should it be.  Humanity is not developed sufficiently for that level of political integration (and likely, never will be).  The basic premise upon which this site is founded is that no governmental authority can exist in a vacuum, or in the absence of a universally recognized country that is to be represented.  Therefore, the symbols and foundational building blocks of human political assimilation must first be established through a political association that concerns itself with the promotion of global personhood and intercultural cooperation.

Accordingly, the THIRD crucial function of Bluecratic relates to creating the philosophical and political underpinnings of a decentralized federation of internet-based, virtual states forming a "global e-republic."  Eventually, e-citizen members will create a simple, global network of people and entities, including but not limited to businesses and political interest groups, whose objectives are to form political associations or "parties", vote for "officeholders" of worldwide, regional, provincial, and local e-institutions of governance, and debate the common interests and law of the human family.

IN TIME, a critical mass of members could foster a change in hard power governmental entities, whether in democratic or authoritarian regimes, while building the social, religious, cultural, economic, and political ties that will define the dimensions of our homeland in the future.  As the old adage suggests, that "great oaks from little acorns grow," this site is indeed the next step in the political, economic, social, and cultural evolution of our species, which is not possible without independent action among private entities and global citizens; a pragmatic, liberal notion that is contrary to, but cognizant of the realist shackles of the present-day international system.
