REGIONAL E-GOVERNMENTS

A detailed description of governing entities from different regions around the world can be located in this section.  These entities will have well-defined parameters within which to govern, addressing a very limited range of policy areas. The basic political institutions at this level will be similar to those presently existing at the national or global level.

Political rights may be enumerated at this level, but only with the assent of all provinces within the jurisdiction of a region.  Cultural beliefs, generally accepted ways of living, and even some civil liberties in one region could be deemed dangerous or wholly illegitimate in another region (or even in different provinces within a single region).  For that reason, there must exist universal acceptance of a constitutional precept before it can have any practical application beyond the provincial level.  Humans should always strive for political equality, but must also avoid the hubris that is sometimes acquired due to ignorance of, and hostility toward, traditional and historical cultural values and beliefs.

Lastly, there will be fifteen regional jurisdictions covering the entire planet, with very limited political powers.

The regions are:
North America, Central America, South America, The Caribbean, Europe, Eurasia, Northern Africa, Western Africa, Eastern Africa, Southern Africa, the Middle East, Southern Asia, Eastern Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania
